Bannerjee panel tenure extended

NEW DELHI: The Government has extended by three months the tenure of the High Level Committee looking into the incident of fire in the Sabarmati Express at Godhra station on February 27, 2002.

The Committee, headed by Justice U.C. Bannerjee, retired Judge of the Supreme Court of India, has been given three more months beyond December 4, 2005.
