OVL, CNPC make joint bid for Syrian assets

NEW DELHI: ONGC Videsh Ltd, the overseas arm of state-run Oil and Natural Gas Corporation, and China's CNPC have made an equal bid for PetroCanada's 38 per cent interest in Syria, ONGC Chairman and Managing Director Subir Raha told reporters here.
