Plea against two CRPF officers
NEW DELHI:
Delhi High Court on Tuesday issued notices to Union Home Ministry and Central Reserve Police Force Director General on a petition filed by an Assistant Commandant seeking sanction to initiate prosecution proceedings against two senior officers for suspending him on false charges.
A division bench comprising Justices Mukul Mudgal and H R Malhotra asked MHA and CRPF to respond to Assistant Commandant B L Sharma's plea by April 19.
In his petition Mr Sharma sought sanction to prosecute the then Deputy Commandant (Operation) D N Choudhary (since retired as Second-in-Command CRPF) and then Officiating Commandant and present CRPF Commandant P K Biswas .- UNI
