Crossing swords

After a brief lull, the fraternal organisations of Malayalam cinema - the Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes (AMMA) and the Malayalam Cinema Technicians Association (MACTA) - are once again in the eye of a storm. Actors Mohanlal and Mammootty have come out openly against director Vinayan for caricaturing them in his latest film `Boyy Friennd.' Representatives of AMMA have already taken up the issue with MACTA.
