Newspaper employee assaulted

Hyderabad:
An employee of the `Munsif' Urdu daily suffered injuries when he was allegedly stabbed by two unidentified persons late on Monday night in the newspaper office situated at Khan Lateef Khan Estate, Fateh Maidan.
Fazal Ahmed (27), who works as plate maker, was attacked when he was carrying the news sheets in a polythene bag for printing around 2.20 a.m.
The assailants, who were in the age group of 28 to 30 years, tried to snatch the news sheets. But when Fazal resisted their attempts, the twosome inflicted knife injuries on his forearm, shoulder and left leg.
Fazal was immediately rushed to the Osmania General Hospital. On Tuesday morning, he was shifted to the Apollo Hospital. No arrests have been made so far.
