Tiger dies at zoo

HYDERABAD: A male tiger, Rahul, died at the Nehru Zoological Park here on Tuesday morning. The tiger, born in captivity on December 8, 1994, was on display right from birth in the Tiger Safari.

According to veterinary experts , Rahul died of pneumonia associated with peritonitis. His death brought down the number of tigers at the park to 18.
