Nasr School turns 40

Hyderabad: Spectacular display of drills, athletic items and dances marked the 40th anniversary celebrations of the Nasr School (girls), Khairatabad. Some 2,000 students from different sections participated in the show held at Gosha Mahal stadium. Minister for Information and Public Relations, Mohd Ali Shabbir, and Director General of Police, Swaranjit Sen, attended the celebrations.

The highlight of the day was `bhratiyam' comprising saree drill, Roman rings drill, yoga and pyramid formation. The girls displayed perfect synchronisation.

Sania Mirza, ex-student of Nasr School, was honoured on the occasion.
