Two held, nine gold chains recovered

BANGALORE: The R.T. Nagar police have arrested two persons allegedly involved in incidents of extortion, robbery, and vehicle thefts. The police recovered nine gold chains and a motorcycle from them. The police gave the names of the arrested persons as Tanvir Pasha (19) and Sikandar (25). The police said the two were involved in two cases of robbery, a case of extortion, and a case of motorcycle theft, in Banasawadi, Hennur, D.J. Halli and Frazer Town police station limits.

In another case, the Jalahalli police have arrested four persons who were allegedly involved in cases of robbery and extortion and recovered various gold ornaments. The police said the accused assaulted a housewife and made away with gold ornaments in Vidyaranyapura police station limits on October 30. The police gave the names of the accused as Shivakumar (23), Anand (19), Raj (19) and Harish (18). The HAL police have arrested two persons allegedly involved in motorcycle theft. The police recovered seven motorcycles from them. The police gave the names of the accused as Vinod (23) and Haravin Kumar (21).

The Cottonpet police arrested Gul Syed (18) and recovered two motorcycles from him. He was involved in incidents reported in Ashok Nagar and Sanjay Nagar police station limits.

The S.J. Park police have arrested Manjunath (18) of Byadarahalli and recovered a stolen private bus. He had stolen the bus from New Mission Road.
