KARIMNAGAR: The Karimnagar Film Society will conduct essay-writing and elocution competitions on the impact of TV on society for school and college students at Film Bhavan in the town. Students interested in participating in essay-writing competitions should send their entries to film society secretary V. Anand on or before December 21 along with necessary identification letters from their respective educational institutions. With regard to elocution competitions, students should register their names at the Film Bhavan or SRR Degree College. The competitions will be held on December 22. The society will also conduct a seminar on the impact of TV on society on December 23 at the Film Bhavan. TV Nandi awards jury chairman K.B. Tilak, jury member Chiranjeevi, Collector C. Parthasarathi and others will participate.
