LUCKNOW: Veteran journalist Upendra Trivedi Gandhi died at Lakhimpur Kheri on Thursday. He was 76. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav expressed profound grief over the death of Gandhi, who was a close associate of Dr Ram Manohar Lohia. In his condolence message, the Chief Minister said Mr. Gandhi was associated with several newspapers and actively participated in social works. ``He believed in high ideals and his death has caused great loss to journalism,'' Mr Yadav said.
