PATHANAMTHITTA: N. Balan, assistant engineer attached to the Kerala State Electricity Board section office at Kumbazha, near here, was caught by the Vigilance police on Friday while allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs.250 from an applicant for new electricity connection. Dy. SP C.P. Gopakumar said the accused had reportedly demanded Rs.500 from the complainant.
