PANAJI: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has reiterated that it is not interested in destabilising the Congress-led coalition Government in the State despite its "lackadaisical performance", but is confident that it will collapse on its own. BJP Goa State unit President Rajendra Arlekar on Saturday accused the Congress spokesman Jitendra Deshprabhu of misguiding the people blaming the BJP for rumour mongering about the instability of the Government. Taking a swipe at the Congress Legislature Party's observations on Friday that bureaucracy was instrumental in holding up files and consequently halting the development works, Mr. Arlekar ridiculed the ruling Congress for blaming the bureaucracy instead of owning the responsibility for bad governance. The BJP leader said the truth is that the administration is paralysed and there is no governance in the State. The BJP will not do anything to topple the Government. But the party is ready for snap polls, he added.
