VISAKHAPATNAM: The High Court has stayed all further proceedings in respect of the tender notice in so far as awarding an excess land of 40 acres in Rushkonda in favour of Gandeva Properties Private Limited, and directed status quo over the land in question. The High Court passed the stay order last week on a writ petition filed by Visakhapatnam district council general secretary M. Anand Rao of the All-India Trade Union Congress. The respondents to the petition are the State Government represented by the Principal Secretary in the Municipal Administration and Urban Development Department, Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority, Gandeva Properties and its associate company Ambience Properties Limited.
