Chennai Collector shifted

CHENNAI: Chennai has a new District Collector.

N. Muruganandam, Executive Director, Tamil Nadu Corporation for Development of Women, takes over from S. Chandramohan.

The transfer comes a day after 42 persons died in a stampede at a flood relief token distribution centre at MGR Nagar.
