Narcotics seized, 4 policemen held

Jammu:
A Rajouri court on Tuesday remanded to police custody seven persons, including a constable and three special police officers (SPOs), who were arrested on the charge of trading in narcotics.
According to the police, a smuggler, code-named Peer Baba, used to provide narcotics to the accused, who had connections in New Delhi. They raided the house of Zaheer Ahmed at Shahdara Sharief, Rajouri, on information that a deal was being struck there by Amit Sadhotra, SPO with the District Special Branch, Gurmeet Singh and Akhter Rasool.
Mohd. Nissar Khan, a constable attached to the Special Operations Group counter terrorism police force, and SPOs Imran Khan and Khalil Ahmed were arrested.
The police are looking for Fazal Hussain and Tariq Ahmed, a former SPO.
