Police seize 25 hard disks
Staff Reporter
TIRUNELVELI:
The police team probing the e-mail bomb threat to Parliament left for Delhi on Tuesday. It seized 25 computer hard disks from the Internet browsing centre, Nellai Online, in Palayamkottai, for examination.
Sources told The Hindu that the Delhi team, led by Assistant Commissioner of Police Sanjeev Yadav, took a flight from Madurai in the evening.
It seized the hard disks as it believed they might contain "some clues" on the culprits who sent the e-mail threat.
Before their departure, the team questioned Kabir and Mubarak of Melapalayam. The duo, who run a computer training centre, were let off later.
Based on the information provided by employees of Nellai Online, sketches of the suspects were drawn but they proved to be of no help.
