Special Correspondent

SHIMOGA: The challenges thrown up by technological innovations can be met effectively only if the level of knowledge arises, Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Panchayat Shivakumar has said.

Mr. Shivakumar said globalisation has entered all spheres of activity, making an impact on traditional style of functioning and that the banking sector is no exception.

It is high time banks rose to the occasion and met the expectations of customers, he said.
