Guru Harkrishan in semifinals

JALANDHAR: Guru Harkrishan Public School, New Delhi, made it to the semifinals beating Government SSS, Gurgaon, 5-1 in the first quarterfinal match of the all-India Balwant Singh Kapur memorial hockey tournament on Tuesday.

Parmod Kumar (9th minute), Sajjan Singh (30th and 42nd), Rohen Singh (62nd) and Raminder Singh (63rd) were the scorers for the Delhi team. Amit Kumar (59th) scored for the Gurgaon school.

In other action, Government Model School, Jalandhar, defeated Birsa Munda Vidyapeetha, Rourkela, Orissa, 4-1.
