GUNTUR: Three accused persons in an attempt to murder case were awarded various terms of rigorous imprisonment on Tuesday by the Assistant Sessions Judge K. Balaramaraju of Gurazala Sub-Court. Thota Sambhaiah, Thota Veeranjaneyu, and Adusumilli Sreenu, who had attempted to murder B. Koteswara Rao on October 30, 2004, for allegedly having illicit relationship with the wife of one of the accused, were sentenced to eight years and five years each respectively in prison. The judge also imposed a monetary fine of Rs. 200 each. The Assistant Public Prosecutor Karanam Kasi Viswanatham argued the case.
