Jamaat women's wing meet

To discuss quota for Muslim women, etc

HYDERABAD: The Andhra Pradesh Women's Wing of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH) is holding its first State conference on February 11 and 12.

The issues to be discussed in the conference include exploitation of women in fashion shows, beauty pageants and advertisements; education and reservations for Muslim women etc.

Separate quota for Muslim women should be incorporated in the five per cent reservation for Muslims, president of the Girls Islamic Organisation of the JIH Faiqa Asfaq said at a press conference here on Tuesday.
