IAF assurance to court on Anjali Gupta

NEW DELHI: The Indian Air Force on Tuesday assured the Delhi High Court that it would not initiate any further action against IAF Flying Officer Anjali Gupta until the court martial proceedings launched against her were confirmed by the Chief of the Air Staff.

A Division Bench of Justice Mukul Mudgal and Justice H.R. Malhotra, which heard a petition filed by Ms. Gupta in this regard, directed the officer to make a representation to the Chief of the Air Staff on the findings of the court martial proceedings which held her guilty of various charges. — PTI
