Man injured in group clash

One group was returning after campaigning

BANGALORE:
One person was injured when two political groups clashed with each other on College Road in Hoskote on Monday.
According to the police, a group of Janata Dal (Secular) workers was returning in a car after finishing their campaign work in Kannur village.
When a group of men said to be members of the Congress stopped the car, a clash ensued in which Bairesh (40) of Tindalu was seriously injured, the police said.
He was admitted to Manipal Hospital.
The windshield of the car was damaged, the police said.
The police have booked four cases against the two groups.
