Isolated rain likely in coastal T.N.

CHENNAI: Isolated rainfall occurred over Kerala. Mainly dry weather prevailed over Tamil Nadu, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema and dry weather prevailed over Telangana, Karnataka and Lakshadweep.

Alapuzha recorded 3 centimetres rainfall.

The minimum temperature rose markedly to appreciably at one or two places over Telangana, rose at one or two places over north interior Karnataka, Rayalaseema, north coastal Andhra Pradesh, fell at one or two places over coastal and south interior Karnataka, Kerala and changed little elsewhere over the region.

They were markedly to appreciably above normal at a few places over Telangana, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, appreciably above normal at a few places over coastal Andhra Pradesh, at one or two places over south interior Karnataka, above normal at a few places over rest Tamil Nadu, rest coastal Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, at one or two places over rest Rayalaseema, below normal at one or two places over coastal Karnataka and were generally normal over the rest of the religion.

Belgaum Airport recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 13{+o} Celsius in the plains of the region.

Forecast (Valid until Friday morning): Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places over coastal Andhra Pradesh. Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over coastal Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry and Rayalaseema.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over interior Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.
