Pondicherry: The All India Students Federation has urged the Administration to revive elected representative councils in schools and colleges. AISF Secretary here G. Karunajothi said the system of having elected bodies in the institutions had been revoked recently. Depriving students of having elected bodies to have their grievances redressed was a step in the wrong direction. Hence, elections should be held to bring into being the representative councils.
