MANJERI (Kerala): Two youths belonging to Pandikkad near here were picked up and questioned by the police and other investigating agencies in connection with the recent e-mail threat to Parliament. Police said the youths had sent an e-mail message to the address from which the original threat message had been sent. Ayyub Khan, 17, son of Thondapudavan Hamza, and Basith, 17, son of Kodasseri Mattayi Abdurahman, were picked up on Tuesday night after national agencies alerted the police. They were plus-two students of the Government Higher Secondary School, Pandikkad. Police said the youths played a prank by sending an e-mail message attached with photos of Parliament on December 19 to insha_allah@sify.com, the address from which the bomb threat message had been sent to the U.S. Consulate. They were questioned by all the agencies involved in the investigation of the Parliament bomb threat. It was concluded that the youths had no link with the bomb threat.
