Youth `kills' woman, stoned to death

ADILABAD:
A jilted lover allegedly knifed a woman teacher to death and a little while later, met the same fate when villagers caught hold of him and stoned him to death on Wednesday.
The shocking incident occurred at Government Upper Primary School, Velmapally, in Kotapalli mandal in the morning.
Affair one-sided
According to reports, Mittapalli Satish fell in love with Ganga Bhavani,23, a resident of CCC Naspur, at his native Mittapalli in Kotapalli mandal some two years ago. However, it was a one-sided affair.
Recently, Ganga Bhavani was transferred to Velmapalli. Her engagement with another person was held three months ago. This unsettled Satish and he allegedly resorted to the extreme step after following her to the school.
Onlookers, after recovering from shock, caught hold of Satish and stoned him to death before the police arrived on the scene.
