President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam has long completed his visit. But many presspersons in the city still treasure moments of his interaction, caught on mobile phone cameras. High-level security for the first citizen would often mean those in his vicinity needing to switch off mobile phones. But in Mr. Kalam's cases, rules are always different. Known for his habit to break security cordons, the Mr. Kalam walked up to the media enclosure and shook hands with some of them, before heading for the motorcade in waiting. And the presspersons could take home precious images of the President in close-ups, caught in their mobile phones. Of course, the President, a man of technology, would not have minded that.
