Laser Soft develops `Panacea' CBS system
MANGALORE:
The Chennai based Laser Soft Infosystems Ltd. has designed and developed a core banking solution (CBS) `Panacea' to cater to high volume and low cost banking in India, B. Suresh Kamath, Chairman and Managing Director of the company said here on Thursday. Panacea is the `lightest' CBS, which will enable banks to offer IT services at very affordable transaction cost to customers. Addressing media persons, Mr. Kamath said Panacea had implemented this CBS successfully in Corporation Bank and Andhra Bank at a total cost of ownership of less than Rs. 4 lakhs per branch.
