Isolated rain likely in T.N.

CHENNAI: Isolated rainfall occurred over Tamil Nadu, Telangana, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Kerala. Mainly dry weather prevailed over Rayalaseema and dry weather prevailed over Karnataka and Lakshadweep. The chief amounts of rainfall recorded in centimeters are: Sivagiri (Tirunelveli dt) and Rajapalayam (Virudhunagar dt) 5 each, Srivilliputhur (Virudhunagar dt) 4, Pamban, Sivakasi (Virudhunagar dt) and Ramagundam 2 each and Vellore, Watrap (Virudhunagar dt) and Kalingapatnam 1 each. The minimum temperature fell at one or two places over north Tamil Nadu and changed little elsewhere over the region.

Weather Forecast (Valid until Saturday morning): Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Kerala. Mainly dry weather will prevail over Telangana, Rayalaseema, Karnataka and Lakshadweep.

Farmers Weather Bulletin for Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry (Valid until Saturday morning): Isolated light to moderate rain is likely to occur over Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry.

Outlook for subsequent two days: No significant change.
