Gujarat to meet Punjab in final

HYDERABAD: Gujarat and Punjab entered the final of the Polly Umrigar Trophy U-15 cricket tournament by virtue of their first innings lead over UP and Mumbai respectively here on Thursday.

Amit Mishra's 113 studded with 18 boundaries was the feature of the UP innings.

The scores: Gujarat 372 & 159 (Krishna Kumar 75, Bhargav Meraj 37, Shivansh five for 50) v UP 252 (Amit Mishra 113, Ishan Sahu 52).

Punjab 345 & 133 for two (Pargat Singh 48, Jeevanjot Singh 36 n.o.) v Mumbai 124 (Raju Sharma 43, Harpreet Gul three for 44, Robin Dhillon three for 29). — Special Correspondent
