`Electronic City' planned

MYSORE: The Government is setting up an `Electronic City' in Mysore on the lines of the one in Bangalore, Information Technology (IT) Secretary M.K. Shankarlinge Gowda has said.

He was talking to told reporters after inaugurating an `International Conference on Cognition and Recognition' here on Thursday.

The electronic city will be set up by KEONICS on 500 acres of land. The KIDB has shortlisted a few places, Mr Gowda said.
