PONDICHERRY: Burglars broke into an apartment at Reddiyarpalayam here on Wednesday morning and decamped with jewels and cash. Nikhil Pathak, owner of the flat, said the robbery happened when his wife went to the terrace to dry clothes. "When my wife returned from the terrace, the door was open and jewellery box kept inside the bureau was lying on the bed. The jewels and Rs. 3,000 were found missing," he said. - Staff Reporter
