Kannur: A Christmas celebration and carol service was organised by the Ecumenical Fellowship Kannur (EFK) here on Thursday. Municipal chairman K. Upendran inaugurated the Christmas carol programme at the Stadium Corner in the evening. Kannur Bishop Varghese Chakkalakkal presided over the function. Co-Adjutor Bishop of Kottayam Mathew Moolakkat read out the Christmas message. Bible reading was done by Pastor E.G. Anthappai of New India Church of God. EFK president Fr. Stephan Jayaraj and secretary A.V. George were also present.
