CHENNAI: The Christmas spirit is catching on. Chennai-based Dove Multimedia has released a multimedia CD in English and Tamil that showcase the stories of the Bible. The "Bible Stories" CD was released recently at the Loyola College with the Rector Dr. P. Jayaraj handing over the first set to the Tamil Department head Dhanraj. M. Anto Peter, president, Kanitamizh Sangam, delivered a special address on animation on the occasion. The Bible Stories CD is part of the `Pebbles series' from Dove Multimedia. The CD features animated Bible stories. Each story depicts how God performed miracles through chosen men of the time. Biblical heroes such as King David, Prophet Daniel, Joseph the Dreamer, Samson the Strong, King Solomon, Moses the Prophet, Jonah the survivor come alive in vivid detail. Apart from the stories, a short description of each of the characters and a quiz section have been included along with play activities such as colouring etc. to make the CD more entertaining. The CD is playable in PC CD-ROM / VCD / DVD formats. The CD is priced at Rs. 99, and is available at all leading bookstores. The website address is www.pebbles.in
