A well informed Miss Universe
BEAUTY AND BRAINS: Miss Universe Natalie Glebova with Dr. Manikandan
During her recent visit to Chennai, Miss Universe Natalie Glebova had several stopovers.
But she also took an unannounced departure from the schedule to visit Mylapore, where she had a quiet 45-minute meeting with Swami Ram Babu.
Another person she met was holistic medical practitioner, Dr. Manikandan, who told her about his work on developing an anti-HIV drug.
When he spoke about the success he has had in the work, she expressed surprise, says Dr. Manikandan.
In fact she questioned him closely, seeking more details about the drug he was developing. "She is really well-informed about the topic," he notes.
A U.S-based organisation `Global Help for All' led by Mr. Srinivasan, is helping Dr. Manikandan in further promoting the therapy.
