Festival of Smita Patil films

BANGALORE: The Regional Institute of Cooperative Management will hold a two-day festival of Smita Patil's films on December 29 and 30 here coinciding with her 20th death anniversary.

Mirch Masala, Ardh Satya and Anveshane (Kannada) will be screened at 10.30 a.m., 2.30 p.m. and 6.30 on December 29.

Bhumika, Manthan and Gidh will be screened at the same timings the next day. A documentary featuring the late actress will be screened at 4 p.m. on December 28 on the institute premises, according to the Chairman of the institute B.S. Vishwanathan.

Well-known actress B. Saroja Devi would inaugurate the festival.
