CHENNAI: The Central Board of Secondary Education has withdrawn the provisional affiliation granted up to standard XII to the Punjab Association's Adarsh Senior Secondary School, Chennai, with immediate effect. However, keeping in view the interest of standard X and XII students at present studying in the school, the Board has made special concession to allow them to appear in the March 2006 Board examinations. The Board will not allow such permission from the 2007 examination, a release here said. If the school admits students for the next academic year for standards IX to XII, the Board shall not be responsible in any manner, the release said adding that parents and guardians should check the status of the school before admitting their wards.
