Cyclones play truant

Cyclones and depressions in the Bay of Bengal are now playing hide and seek. The moment Met officials detect the cyclones and issue a warning, they are either changing course or retreating into the Bay.

A peculiarity noticed is that ever since the Met officials began naming them, the cyclones have been playing truant. Fanoos and Baaz, have not hit the coast despite the warning. It's not only people in coastal districts who are happy, but also those in the city . Due to the cloud formation, night temperatures have gone up.
