ERODE: Doctors in Government Hospitals should provide quality treatment to all patients visiting the hospital and the Joint Director of Medicals should keep sufficient stocks of tablets and other medicines in the hospital for the poor, said the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment Minister, P.C. Ramasamy on Friday. He was conducting the Government Hospital Development Committee meeting. The Minister said that already separate women ward had been sanctioned to Erode Government Headquarters Hospital at a cost of Rs 37 lakhs. He hoped that the building would be inaugurated on January 15 and used for the admission of women patients. Collector, D. Karthikeyan urged the doctors in rural areas, working in Primary Health Centres to instruct the village health nurses to visit all anganwadis and noon meal centres.
