Annual meet of Alluri Institute organised

The annual IT students' meet of the Alluri Institution of Management Sciences, Warangal, was held on a colourful note here. A workshop on `System testing & testing tools', paper presentation, soft pack exhibit, stress interview and others were the highlights of the meet.

The students enjoyed the enlightening lectures by the senior faculty members and those representing the industry. The COO of Redezvous on Chip, Hyderabad; Head of IT department of Institute of Public Enterprise, M.L. Saikumar, senior faculty member A. Amruth Rao and others shared their thoughts with the upcoming leaders. They apprised the students what the country, the industry in particular expected of them. Director of the institute, Banda Prakash presided over the meeting.

Symposium on IT

Meanwhile, the Vagdevi Engineering College organised a three-day international symposium on `IT for real world problems' where representatives from industry and institution and students of various institutions gathered to exchange their knowledge on latest developments in the field of information technology.

College Principal I.S. Rao said the faculty members from US, Russia and Singapore deliberated upon the issues such as IT in emerging global economy; micro electromechanical systems & Nano technology; IT-based personalized agriculture extension system; Can non-invasive IT based techniques predict heart attacks and Inverse problems and knowledge discovery.
