Radio Ceylon

Among the several performers on Radio Ceylon, including the inimitable Mayilvaganam, recalled by readers in these columns following the publication of the article, `Tunes from the past,' (Dec. 21), a voice not mentioned is that of the late Sunil Dutt.

It was his rich voice, that came to the fore during his compering for Radio Ceylon, that won for him his first role in Railway Platform.
