Flights delayed again

BANGALORE: Bad weather in Delhi continued to affect air traffic between the national capital and Bangalore, as many flights were delayed on Sunday. The morning flights of Indian from Delhi were delayed by about two hours, which affected the schedule of other flights as well.

A Delhi-bound flight of Air Sahara scheduled to leave Bangalore on Saturday left only at 9.30 a.m. Another flight, scheduled for noon departed two hours later.

Air Deccan's flight to Mumbai left at 2.30 p.m. instead of 8.30 a.m.

The reason: the flight from Delhi arrived late. Kingfisher airlines also had problems with its schedules. Its flights to Hyderabad and Kolkata were reportedly affected, airport sources said.
