M.I. Shahnavaz bereaved

Kochi: M.V. Ibrahim Kutty, 81, senior advocate of the Kerala High Court, died of a heart attack here on Sunday, family sources said. He leaves behind his wife; sons, M.I. Shahnavaz, Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) general secretary, and Junaid Rehman, a doctor; and daughters, Jeeja Kutty and Sheeja Kutty. Chief Minister Oommen Chandy; the Ministers M.K. Muneer, V.K. Ebrahim Kunju and Dominic Presentation; KPCC president Ramesh Chennithala; Muslim League general secretary P.K. Kunhalikutty; other political leaders; and officials visited his house to pay their last respects. — PTI
