KOCHI: India has given the message of universal brotherhood to the world, and there is no better day than Christmas to propagate the message, said Dominic Presentation, Minister for Fisheries and Sports, here on Sunday. Speaking at a Universal Fraternity Meeting, organised by the Centre for Bharatiya Marketing Development as part of a seven-day Swadeshi Mela, he called for preserving the culture and tradition of the country, which, perhaps, had been a frontrunner in giving such a message. Mr. Presentation said the Mela would help sent a right message to the public, when all possible items from different countries had become readily available. The mela was not just providing a marketing platform but also making a statement that India lived in its villages.
