Letters to the Editor
This refers to the editorial, `Standing reality on its head' (Dec. 26), on the denial by the LTTE of involvement in the claymore mine attack that killed 13 Sri Lankan Navy sailors last week. Such denials are not new or uncommon to the LTTE. The group has blatantly refused to accept its involvement in several cold-blooded murders in the past as well. To the Tigers, liberation means the elimination of those who work for peace and the well being of Tamils on the island.
R. Ganesh,
* * * By procrastinating and stalling every peace process, the LTTE is trying to win a war through violence and vandalism.
U.S. Iyer,
