Befitting honour for Bapu's Bhavatham

Rangannath bags best TV actor award, Neelima emerges best TV actress

KARIMNAGAR: Renowned film director Bapu has bagged the best TV film director award for the film ``Sri Bhagavatham'' which is telecasted in for the year 2004. While Rangannath bagged the best TV actor award for his TV film `Rudrapeetam' and Neelima bagged the best TV actress award for her TV film ``Spoorthi'' for the year 2004.

The other Nandi TV film awards for the year 2004 were: the best supporting actor, Adithya (Rudrapeetam), the best supporting actress, Ch Ragini (Nanna and Jagadguru Shankara), the best comedian, Shivaji Raja (Alasyam, Amrutham, Visham), the best villain, Chinna (Santosham), the best child actor, Vamshi Mohan (Nanna).

The first best film director, Murali Krishna Mudidhani (Nanna), the best screenplay writer, P Sambasiva Rao (Karpura Vasantharayalu), the best story writer, G Ramachandramurthy (Bhathruhari Subhashithalu), the best dialogue writer, Asam Srinivas (Nanna), the best song writer, Chaitanya Prasad (Siri), the best photographer, Thota V Ramana (Rudrapeetam), the best music director, Anoop (Kalasham), the best male playback singer, Dr Banti (Chakravakam), the best female playback singer, Sashikala Swamy (Kalyani).

The best editor, K Srinivas (Kalasham), the best art director, Bhaskarraju (Sri Bhagavatham), the best choreographer, T Pushpa (Rasajuri), the best sound engineer, B Bala Shankar Reddy (Edi nijam), the best costumes, J Babu Rao (Sri Bhagavatham), the best set designer, P Rambabu (Sri Bhagavatham), the best graphics, A Prakash (Kalasham).

The special jury awards include; Ramesh Kalaghatiga for producing an awareness film on environment and forest wildlife protection, Y Shilpa, the best dubbing artist for her voice in `Spoorthi' film and Srikar for ``Srivari sevalu''.

The first best tele-film, Thyagayya (director N Aditya and producer D Prasada Rao), the second best tele-film, Parivarthana (director R Netaju and producer D Prasada Rao). The first best TV regular serial, Rudrapeetam (director, Raja Chandravarma and producer V Ramakoteshwara Rao), the second best TV regular serial, Sadguru Charitham (director, P Uday Bhaskar and producer T Nageshwar Rao and others).

The first best TV mega serial, Nanna (director, Muralikrishna M and producer Gunnam Ganga Raju and Venkat Dega), the second best TV mega serial, Sri Bhagavatham (director, Bapu and producer, Ramoji Rao), the first best TV daily serial, Santosham (director, Pridvi Varma and producer M Sarojini), the second best TV daily serial, Oke Okkadu (director K Kiran and producers R Ramesh Babu and others).

The first best children's TV film, Adavi puloo, the second best children's film, Dream boy, the first best documentary film, Athmagauravam, the second best documentary film, Kondaveedu, the first best socially relevant film, Spoorthi and the second best socially relevant film, Bathruhari subhashitalu.
