A clear day, but flights hit
Staff Reporter
NEW DELHI:
Indira Gandhi International Airport here was again witness to repeated rescheduling of flights on Monday as the authorities struggled to clear the backlog of the previous day's delays on a day when the sun shone bright and there was no fog to compound the woes of the much-harassed passengers.
Though the day was clear and strong surface winds ensured that there was no fog, there was still no relief for the passengers from the delays that had become unbearable over the past five days. While most of the flights operated on time, many others had to be rescheduled to clear the backlog.
Passengers of Air Deccan were the worst sufferers as the airline cancelled six of its flights
