BANGALORE: A 32-year-old watchman of a vehicle service station was allegedly murdered in his shed near Rajajajeshwari Nagar arch in Bytarayanapura on Sunday night. His body was found on Monday morning. According to police Venkatesh, a native of Davangere, who was working with Vignesh Security Agency, was posted at Mahindra Service Station. Some persons reportedly entered his shed and strangled him with a cloth. The police have found strangulation marks on the body.
Man waylaid, robbed
Three persons waylaid a person coming out from a bank and relieved him of Rs. 10,000 in cash in Avalahalli in Hanumanthanagar police station limits on Monday afternoon. According to police, Anand withdrew the amount from a Corporation Bank branch. When he was walking down the road, three persons waylaid him, threatened him and snatched the bag containing money, the police said.
