BJP & history

This refers to the news report, `Advani: BJP has made history' (Dec. 27). It is a history of a party that came to power by raising communal issues, which led to the genocide in Gujarat. It is a history that the country cannot be proud of. A large section of the country's middle class has fallen prey to the party's designs.

The words of praise showered on the RSS by Mr. Advani at the BJP's national executive meet in Mumbai on Monday proves that the BJP is still strongly bound to the Sangh and that whoever succeeds Mr. Advani as BJP chief should strictly toe the RSS line.
