Amitabh offers prayers at Tirumala

PRAYER TIME: Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan at Tirumala on Tuesday
TIRUPATI
: Actor Amitabh Bachchan offered prayers at the shrine of Lord Venkateswara in Tirumala in the early hours on Tuesday. Visiting the shrine for a second `darshan' before winding up his two-day pilgrimage, the Bollywood actor spent 30 minutes inside the shrine. His wife Jaya and his friends Anil Ambani and Amar Singh accompanied him.
After `darshan' he went round the temple offered money at the `hundi'.
He was later seated inside the ancient `Ranga Mandapam' and offered the Lord's `sesha vasthram' and other `prasadam.'
TTD's Executive Officer A.P.V.N. Sarma and Special Officer A.V. Dharma Reddy were among those who received the Bachchans on their arrival at the temple.
